Tool reviews
Our reviews report two things separately for every tool: how well it fits the students it’s sold to, and how good it actually is. Fit is the Four Mismatches Test; quality is scored against the rubric on our methodology page. No tool can pay to be listed or to score higher.
Why there are no scores here right now
Our publisher also builds learning software. We used to keep only its own products out of our reviews. Now we go further: we don’t score or rank any tool that competes with it either. Our earlier reviews came down while we rebuild the list under that rule.
The first new reviews are of AI tools for teachers. Until they’re published, every tool still has a page of verified facts in the Learning Tools Index.
